X Games Detroit Bid Sets Campus Martius Party
DETROIT -- The buzz for bringing the X Games to Detroit is continuing to build, and on Tuesday, May 28 at 8 p.m., the X Games Detroit bid team will be hosting network officials from ESPN for an epic party at Campus Martius Park.
By hosting a free party that is open to the public, X Games Detroit plans to show ESPN why Detroit is the most passionate and committed city to host the X Games.
ESPN is coming to Detroit for a finalist site visit, and the #XG2D Movement hopes to entice the network with:
* DJ sets by Mixmaster Mike of the Beastie Boys and Ryan Richards
* Live graffiti contest with Detroit artists
* Open skate and BMX
* StrEAT Detroit food trucks
