Woman Killed In Wrong-Way Crash With Semi
ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - A woman was killed in wrong-way traffic crash just before the afternoon rush began Wednesday in Washtenaw County.
County Sheriff's spokesman Derek Jackson said the woman was headed southbound along Zeeb Road near Liberty around 2 p.m. when her vehicle crossed into northbound traffic and struck the side of a semi truck.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name and age were not immediately released.
The semi driver was not hurt.
Jackson said they're not sure if the woman was having a medical emergency or just why she crossed into oncoming traffic.
The accident is under investigation.
