Woman Killed In Motorcycle Accident, Husband Injured
HOLLY (WWJ) - A Holly man is in critical condition and his wife is dead following a tragic motorcycle accident in North Oakland County.
The accident happened Sunday afternoon on South Holly Road, near Begola Lane. Police say 58-year-old Jackie Fuson was driving the motorcycle, with his wife as a passenger, when he crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head-on. The female passenger was thrown from the motorcycle and struck by a Ford Econoline, driven by a Holly resident.
Fuson, the driver of the motorcycle was taken to the U-M Medical Center. His wife, Ellen, later died of her injuries at Hurley Medical Center.
Police continue to investigate, but say it doesn't appear that alcohol was involved in the deadly crash.
