Woman Jumps To Death From Greektown Casino Parking Garage
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are looking for answers as to why a woman apparently committed suicide by jumping from the roof of the Greektown Casino parking garage.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. Thursday at the garage near Monroe and St. Antoine streets. Detroit Police say the woman, in her mid-50s, jumped from the top-level of the casino's 13-story parking deck and onto the roof of a nearby building.
Police believe the death is a suicide, although they say an investigation is ongoing.
The woman's name was not released.
