Woman Found Fatally Shot In Vacant Apartment Building

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for help in identifying a woman found dead in an abandoned apartment building.

The woman dubbed "Jane Doe" was discovered on Aug. 8 a the building in the 16500 block of Fullterton, just east of the Southfield Freeway.

Police said the woman had been assaulted. She had both gunshot and laceration wounds on her body.

The woman is described as about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, with a medium build, with no obvious tattoos. Police estimate she was in her early 20s.
