Woman Faces Charges She Set Boyfriend On Fire
A Roseville woman stands accused of tossing nail polish remover on her boyfriend, setting him on fire and threatening him with a knife.
The 40-year-old Sheila Golly, who maintains her innocence, is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
Golly said her 44-year-old boyfriend set him on fire as she was using the polish remover to take off her fake nails.
The boyfriend claims the two had been arguing about his drinking when she attacked him. He's in the hospital with serious burns.
Neighbors say they could hear the couple yelling.
Golly's two kids were at home at the time. Both are now in protective services.
