Woman Dies In Head-On Crash After Suffering Apparent Medical Episode
GROSSE POINTE FARMS (WWJ) -- A head-on crash in Grosse Pointe Farms killed one woman and critically injured another on Saturday.
Police are investigating along Lake Shore Dr. near Warren Rd. after a 43-year-old woman had an apparent medical episode causing her vehicle to speed-up. She then lost control, hit the second vehicle and later died.
The second driver -- a 73-year-old woman -- was rushed to St. John Hospital for treatment.
Two children in the car with the 43-year-old were hurt, but their injuries were non-life threatening.
