Woman Attacked By Hundreds of Bees
A beekeeper was stung dozens of times Tuesday night when hundreds of them attacked her in the driveway of her home in Pittsfield Township.
When firefighters arrived, the woman - clad in a bee suit - was surrounded by a swarm of aggressive bees. They used 750 gallons of water to disperse the insects. The woman said she was tending to the queen bee when the colony became disturbed and began attacking her. She was not seriously hurt.
