Witnesses Sought In Fatal Drunk Driving Crash
CLINTON TWP. (WWJ) - A 52-year-old woman will be charged with drunk driving after another 52-year-old woman was killed in a crash Saturday night in Clinton Township.
Police say Tina Marie Bates of Clinton Township-p was driving southbound along Grospeck Highway shortly after 8 p.m. when the crash occurred south of 15 Mile Road.
The other driver, identified by police as Katharine-Reid Mitchell of Macomb, is charged with operating while intoxicated causing death. She was scheduled to be arraigned Monday in 41-B District Court.
Police are looking for witnesses as the investigation continues. Anyone with information pertaining to the crash is asked to call (586) 493-7900.
