Winter Weather Advisory For Macomb County
MOUNT CLEMENS (WWJ) - Old Man Winter once again has his eye on Metro Detroit. The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Weather Advisory for Macomb County from 11 p.m. until 4 p.m. Friday. Up to five inches of snow is predicted for the eastern part of Macomb County.
The National Weather Service says roads will become snow covered overnight, making travel hazardous and affecting the Friday morning commute. Snowfall may be intense at times with visibilities reduced below one mile late Thursday night into Friday.
Two inches of snowfall is predicted for an area stretching along a line from Detroit to eastern Oakland County and Lapeer. AccuWeather says the western suburbs may not see any accumulation.

Thursday Night: 100% chance of Snow. Additional accumulations 1 to 2 inches. Lows 26 to 30. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
Friday: Cloudy. Snow through late afternoon. Additional accumulations less than an inch. Highs 37 to 41. A slight chance of light snow late. Lows 27 to 31.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy and brisk. A chance of light rain and snow during the morning...then a chance of light rain. Highs 39 to 43. A chance of light snow showers at night. Lows 26 to 30.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy through mid morning, then becoming partly sunny. Highs 38 to 42. Lows 20 to 24.
