Whole Foods Market Plans To Open Midtown Detroit Store
DETROIT (WWJ) - The co-CEO of Whole Foods Market says the upscale grocery chain isn't treating Detroit to half a loaf.
Walter Robb promised nothing less "than our very best" in a speech to the Detroit Economic Club Friday.
Whole Foods plans to open a 20,000-square-foot market next year with about 75 employees in Detroit's Midtown.
The Austin, Texas-based grocer has five other Michigan stores.
