Who Made Reggie Bush Starstruck? Not The Guy He Wants To Play Him In A Movie

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) One would be hard-pressed to guess the actor who had Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush in awe when he showed up in the Trojans locker room.
Sit on it Potsie.
"One of the ones I was kind of starstruck by, which is crazy, was Henry Winkler, the Fonz," Bush said with a laugh. "He would come to our practices. And just because when I was really young my grandmother used to always watch 'Happy Days,' so I kind of grew up watching 'Happy Days' a lot because she was always watching it, and when I finally see him show up in the locker room, he was a lot older, but I don't know why, I was still a little starstruck by that."
On the subject of television, Bush reflected on his Johnson's new commercial, in which "Calvin" is free to focus on football while "Johnson" - rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs - takes care of all the off-field distractions. Bush had a quick answer for who would play him in such a scenario.
"Denzel Washington," Bush said. "If I want somebody to play me, it's got to be Denzel. He's got to be the guy. It's either Denzel Washington, or if you want somebody to narrate your life, it's got to be Morgan Freeman. He's like the guy you want to narrate your life."
Bush also weighed in on tight end Tony Scheffler's new hair color. Normally dark, Scheffler's locks are now bleach blond. Bush said that, knowing Scheffler as somewhat reserved, the move is even funnier than it appears on the surface.
"Everybody obviously was cracking jokes, and [wide receiver] Nate [Burleson] said, 'Oh, did you do that because the new Eminem album is coming out?" Bush said with a chuckle.
"Scheff, I'm still new here, getting to know a lot of the guys, but Scheff is definitely a character, man," Bush continued. "I love the energy he brings to the team. It's funny because he's naturally quiet but on the football field he's doing celebrations and he seems the last person to do that when you get to know him."
Looking at Bush, stocky and muscular as one would except an NFL running back to be, it is hard to imagine he ever cheats on his diet, but he dished on one fast food indulgence - Doritos tacos from Taco Bell.
Aside from Taco Bell and Chipotle - which he said doesn't count as fast food because it is kind of healthy - Bush says most of his time away from the game is spent at home with his daughter.
"Outside of football I'm usually at home with my little girl," Bush said. "She takes up most of my time outside of football, so that's usually where I am."
