Solving The 'Pit Bull Problem'
Sterling Heights residents and city officials are invited to a workshop Wednesday evening to discuss the future of pit bulls in the city.
Sterling Heights officials said they called the meeting because of an increase in vicious dog attacks and have been tracking incidents where people have been mauled by the dogs.
Pit bull attacks have been on the increase all over southeast Michigan, police said.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 29th, at Sterling Heights Senior Citizen Activity Center at 40200 Utica Road at Dodge Park Road.
