What Is The Dumbest Game You Have Wasted Money On? [BLOG]

When I was 23 I broke my tibia and fibula in half playing basketball. I haven't shot a ball in 7 years, but all of that changed yesterday!
I am out in Las Vegas with the Valenti and Foster show at The D Casino Hotel, and right outside of the hotel are three basketball rims.
Each rim is a different height, going from 20 feet, to 25 feet, to the ultimate 30 feet. Valenti and Foster's producer Jim Bentley and myself decided we would try to conquer at least the 20-foot shot.
Each shot $1 so we paid $10 for five shots a piece. Bentley proceeded to make one; we felt pretty good about it so we walked away.
We couldn't resist, though, so we came back with $20 more. Bentley made two 20-foot shots — and lucky me made a 25-foot, which won me a t-shirt, some beads and two pins.
I felt great about myself. I just made that shot in front of a crowd; I was on top of the world. You would think that after conquering that shot we would be good ...
Wrong!
Our sales guy who (will remain nameless) is also on the trip with us. Seeing the game, he wanted a crack at it. His wife even told us, "He is the man but just awful at sports." He paid $80 so we just kept on shooting. Unfortunately, we didn't make a single shot. I blame it on fatigue ... Yes, that's what I'm going with.
About 50 shots in, all the sudden we were told we had "two shots a piece left." I'm pretty sure unnamed sales guy's wife told the young lady running the game to cut us off.
As I was walking away Bentley nailed a 30-foot shot. And here is what he won...
After spending over $100 combined, a hat is what we all have to show for it; and, well, and my awesome t-shirt and buttons.
