Westland Man Drowns In Lagoon

A deadly Labor Day weekend on waterways around Michigan. The Monroe County sheriff's office says divers have recovered the body of a 24-year-old Westland man from a lagoon off Lake Erie.

Harallamb Tasi's body was found last night in about 8 feet of water ... in an spot on the water commonly known as the "Hot Hole.''

The sheriff's office says Tasi went to retrieve a football he was throwing with his friends when he went under the water and never came up.
