West Bloomfield Condo Complex Damaged By Fire
West Bloomfield Township investigators are trying to find the cause of an early morning fire that damaged three condos. The fire was reported just before 5:30 a.m. Monday at the Cloisters on the Lake condominium complex near Middlebelt and Long Lake roads.
Two of the units were occupied at the time of the fire. The residents of one of the units got out and called firefighters. The occupants of another unit were asleep, and the third unit was empty. Firefighters woke up the family and helped them out the building. Fire officials say no injuries were reported.
It took four fire stations to respond to the fire, and the firefighters were still working on hotspots at 10 a.m.
