Weekend Road Work Alert
It may be starting to feel like Fall, but the Summer road work season isn't over yet. Road projects will cause weekend tieups on the two primary routes to Metro Airport.
Southbound I-275 will be down to one lane at Michigan Ave., Saturday morning until Monday morning. Plan to exit at Ford Rd. and use Haggerty instead.
Two sections of EB I-94 will be squeezed into one lane between I-275 and Telegraph Rd. starting at 8 p.m. Friday until early Monday. Traffic is likely to backup to Haggerty Rd., so plan to exit there and use Ecorse Rd to bypass it.
