Weather Advisory Runs Overnight In Metro Detroit Area
DETROIT (WWJ) - A winter weather advisory begins at 7 p.m. Sunday for metro Detroit and runs until 4 Monday morning.
We're expecting a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain.
Wayne County is ready according to Cindy Dingell with the county's department of public services.
"We are prepared to tackle the roads and we'll get a layer of salt down this evening when we call them in and then we will address the roads in the more hazardous areas accordingly," said Dingell.
Dingell says they have a layer of salt on the roads already from Friday's snow. She cautions drivers to slow down and drive carefully.
