Weapon's Retailer Removes Billboard That Appears To Point Gun At Child
WEST MICHIGAN (AP) - A West Michigan billboard for a weapon's retailer that showed a large gun pointing at an adjacent billboard with a child on it has been taken down.
The advertising company behind the signs have cited heightened sensitivities over the Connecticut school shooting as reason for the removal.
The sign was up along I-96 in Coopersville, near Grand Rapids.
The gun on the ad appeared to be pointing at the child on an ad for a nonprofit that collects food donations.
