Waterford Police Seek Robbery Suspect (Video)
Waterford Police are asking for the public's help to identify an attempted armed robber.
According to police, the steak knife-wielding suspect entered the Sunoco gas station at 5775 Dixie Hwy, in Waterford Township at about 1 a.m. on Saturday.

He approached a store employee, who was behind the cash register, and demanded all of the money from the cash register. The cashier locked the cash register and backed away and out of reach of the suspect.
After a unsucessful attempt at opening the register himself, police say the man ran out of the store and down a side street, without the money.
No one was injured.
