The Lions found themselves in a familiar position late in Sunday's game against the visiting Washington Redskins. Down by four, 17-13, with just 1:05 left in the game and needing to drive 75 yards to win. If they were able to do it, it would be the Lions third come-from-behind victory of the season.
Matt Stafford and company hit three straight big plays to get the ball down to the Redskins 18-yard line. Stafford then missed to passes towards the end zone to Golden Tate, making it 3rd-and-10 with just 16 seconds left on the clock. That's when the Lions under-the-radar free agent acquisition, Anquan Boldin, made the biggest play of the game.
Boldin's touchdown gave the Lions a 20-17 lead and they were able to hold on to win.
