Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Or so the saying goes.
Detroit Lions fans know all too well that even the slightest celebration can lead to a season-ending injury: case in point, Stephen Tulloch.
Lions linebacker Tulloch was lost for the season in just the third game of the year after celebrating a sack of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers while mocking him with his famous "Discount Double-Check" routine.
Chicago Bears defensive end Lamarr Houston probably didn't see that video, or just didn't learn from it. The Bears got trounced by the New England Patriots on Sunday, 51-23.
The Patriots put backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to finish the blowout when Houston sacked him for a huge loss when the game was already out of hand. Houston proceeded to do the same celebration as Tulloch, with the same result.
Houston went down with a knee injury and had to be carted off. No word on how serious the injury is.
