Warren Home Burglarized In Broad Daylight

WARREN (WWJ) - Warren Police are looking for three suspects who burglarized a home in broad daylight.

Police say the three men, just before Noon on Tuesday, walked into a home near Eight Mile Road and Schoenherr through an unlocked door and robbed several family members at gunpoint.

Lieutenant Dan Beck says the trio of robbers tied up two victims inside the house on Helle Avenue,

"The suspects duct taped the arms and legs of two of the  victims and it looks like they then ran out of duct tape. Two of the other residents at the home were able to jump out of a bedroom window during a robbery," Beck said.

The suspects got away in a mid 1990s red or maroon Chevy pickup truck with a duel exhaust. It had a sticker on the back window with the word "archery" on it.

Police say no one was hurt. At this point, they believe the robbery was a random crime.
