Visteon, BAE Team Up For In-Vehicle Electronics
VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP -- Auto supplier Visteon Corp. (NYSE: VC) said Thursday it had signed a memorandum of understanding to develop in-vehicle electronics for the automotive market with Farnborough, U.K.-based BAE Systems.
The technology cooperation combines BAE Systems' advanced scientific and engineering know-how with Visteon's wide range of automotive electronics solutions and proven system integration knowledge. Both companies are recognized for their expertise in developing electronic interfaces for end-user information and awareness systems, holding market-leading positions in their respective industries.
