Verne Lundquist Takes Shot At Brent Musburger Over Katherine Webb

Every day of her waking life Katherine Webb (girlfriend of Alabama QB A.J. McCarron) should be calling Brent Musburger and thanking him for the shout out he gave her during the National Championship game. Webb was shown on the telecast and Musburger decided to tell every young man who was watching that they could score a lady that looks as good as Webb if they could throw a football.

After Musburger made those comments about Webb, the Web blew up. (pun intended.)

Katherine Webb was shown on CBS this past Saturday during the LSU and Alabama game. Verne Lundquist didn't take the bait though. Lundquist said A.J. McCarron's mother and his girlfriend stuck it out through the rain. His partner in the booth Gary Danielson replied "is that it?" trying to goad him into saying more. Lundquist still didn't take the bait. He responded, "You're darn right. I don't work for that four-letter network."
