Verlander Is Taking Datsyuk Out To Dinner
By Evan Jankens
If you don't think that players in different sports are friends -- you're wrong. The Red Wings' Pavel Datsyuk on Wednesday sent a tweet to Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander saying there isn't money left for Mike Ilitch to sign him since Verlander took all the cash.
Verlander responded by saying he would take Datsyuk out for dinner.
Verlander's contract could be worth as much as $202 million over the next seven seasons.
Um, Justin, I'm hungry too. How about a lunch at least?
