Verizon Expands 4G LTE In West, Central, Northern Michigan
SOUTHFIELD -- Verizon Wireless is continuing to enhance and expand its 4G LTE network, which is currently available to customers in 491 markets, reaching 287 million people across the nation.
Last week, the company rolled out its advanced, high-speed wireless network across portions of four counties in Michigan: Calhoun, Clare, Mason and Missaukee.
* In Calhoun County, 4G LTE now extends along M-99, improving coverage on the south side of Albion.
* Customers in the Clare County communities of Farwell, Harrison, Lake and Lake George can now enjoy the speed and capabilities available on Verizon's 4G LTE devices.
* 4G LTE coverage is also available in Ludington and other Mason County communities, including Free Soil, Hamlin Lake, North Epworth, Scottville and Walhalla.
* In Missaukee County, coverage is expanded from Cadillac on M-55 into Lake City and on M-66 on the south side of Lake City.
The expanded 4G LTE coverage will allow customers to take advantage of the speed and capabilities available on Verizon's 4G LTE devices to manage their local businesses and access entertainment on the go.
