Vandals Leave Behind Slippery, Sticky Mess
FABIUS TWP. (WWJ/AP) - Authorities in southwestern Michigan are looking for vandals who left a slippery, sticky mess behind at a home.
Authorities say peanut butter and petroleum jelly were wiped on the windows, doors, and outer fixtures of the home in St. Joseph County's Fabius Township, about 30 miles south of Kalamazoo. Someone also cut what was believed to be a telephone line to the residence.
The sheriff's department says it's still looking for suspects in the vandalism, which occurred Feb. 10.
Police are seeking tips from anyone who may have witnessed a suspicious person or vehicle in the area of West Clear Lake Road and Elizabeth Drive.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department at 269-467-9045.
