Valentine's Day Forecast: Perfect Weather For Cuddling
DETROIT (WWJ) - While an early morning snowfall has drivers taking it slow Tuesday, the chilly weather is a perfect excuse to snuggle up with your sweetie on Valentine's Day.
The WWJ-TV/CBS Detroit weather team expects light snow to fall throughout the morning with temperatures in the mid 20s, then a chance of light snow in the afternoon with highs 34 to 38. WWJ-TV Chief Meteorologist Jim Maddaus said snowfall will be pretty thin, with accumulations less than an inch.
It could be all that burning love, or maybe the sun, but Maddaus said the snow probably won't be sticking around, as temperatures throughout the rest of the week will be in the high 30s. We could, however, expect to see some rain toward the end of the week.

Tuesday - Light snow in the morning...then a chance of light snow in the afternoon. Cloudy. Accumulations less than an inch. Highs 34 to 38. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 80 percent.
Tuesday Night - Cloudy. Lows 26 to 30. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph.
Wednesday - Partly sunny. Highs 37 to 41. South winds 5 to 15 mph.
Wednesday Night - Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain and snow in the evening...then rain likely after midnight. Lows 31 to 35. Southeast winds 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.
Thursday - Cloudy with rain. Highs 37 to 41. South winds 5 to 15 mph...becoming southwest 10 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 70 percent.
Thursday Night - Partly cloudy with a slight chance of light snow showers. Lows 26 to 30. Chance of snow 20 percent.
