UPDATE REGARDING TICKET DISTRIBUTION TO TONIGHT'S VIKINGS-GIANTS GAME
The Detroit Lions have announced that due to the overwhelming response this morning for tickets to tonight's game between the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants at Ford Field, tickets will no longer be distributed at the Ford Field Box Office.
Anyone already holding a ticket to the Vikings-Giants game that was scheduled to be played in Minneapolis on Sunday will be admitted and given preferred seating in Detroit Monday night.
Fans with tickets to Sunday's Packers-Lions game in Detroit can also use their ticket from yesterday's game and will be admitted free tonight with no reserved seating.
This is a first-come, first-serve event. Capacity of Ford Field is 64,500, and fans with Lions-Packers ticket stubs and general admission tickets distributed this morning are not guaranteed if stadium capacity is reached.
Stadium gates will open at 5:30 pm.
The game will be televised by FOX in selected markets and available to Sunday Ticket subscribers on DirecTV. Additional television details will follow.
