DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police in Detroit are still looking for two suspects who carjacked a women and her daughter as they were in line at a fast food takeout window on Friday.
Detroit Police have found two of the four men responsible for carjacking Brande Tate and her 8-year-old daughter, Drew, while they were getting a midnight snack at the Wendy's drive-thru on Grand River around midnight on Friday.
One of the men walked up to the car and pointed a gun at the child. Tate and her daughter were able to get out of the car unharmed, but the suspect escaped in her 2008 Lexus.
Police have recovered her car and are still searching for two other suspects. Tate said that her peace of mind is gone and her daughter is still afraid to sleep in her own bed.
"My job called me and told me that they already have a laptop for me," Tate said. "The only thing that I lost, in that regard, are some files and some notes. My purse has not been recovered, and some eyeglasses."
