Two Boys Hurt In Golf Ball Accident
Officials are calling it a freak accident in Macomb County. Two little boys, ages two and one, were injured Thursday when they were sprayed with glass after a golf ball crashed through the window of the van in which they were riding.
The boys father told police he was driving in Macomb Township in front of Hickory Hollow Golf Course when a golf ball struck a rear passenger window, showering his sons with shattered glass.
The dad said both boys were covered in blood.
They were transported to Henry Ford Macomb Hospital for treatment. The boys' condition has not been released.
