Twins 10, Tigers 4
DETROIT (WWJ/AP) -The Tigers started out strong but it wasn't to last as Detroit falls to the Minnesota Twins 10-4 in the first game of a day/night doubleheader on Sunday.
As heard on sister station 1270 - Miguel Cabrera started the scoring for the Tigers hitting a RBI double in the fourth inning - followed by Delmon Young's RBI single to score Cabrera - but that would be the only scoring for the Tigers until scoring two more with two out in the ninth.
The Twins, on the other hand, came alive in the sixth inning, scoring five of their ten runs.
