Trial Continues In Killing Of Detroit Police Officer
DETROIT (WWJ) - Trial resumes Monday in the case of 26-year old Jason Gibson, accused of killing Detroit Police Officer Brian Huff last May.
Gibson is also accused of shooting three other officers with a semi- automatic pistol.
Last Friday, an evidence technician testified in Wayne Circuit Court that the crime scene where Officer Huff was killed had not been properly secured when he arrived to collect evidence more than a week after the shooting.
Gibson, who has been charged with multiple felonies, including first- degree premeditated murder, faces up to life in prison if convicted.
