Tragic Accident On I-275 In Canton
A tragic accident in Canton early Sunday morning leaves one person dead.
It's an accident that appears to have been caused by a drunk driver. A witness driving northbound on I-275 near Ford Road reported seeing another vehicle speed by him shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday. About 10 minutes later, that vehicle struck the rear end of a car, killing the female driver. The suspect was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
No further information on the victim or the suspect has been released.
