Traffic Stop Nets 'High-Quality' Drug Bust
DETROIT (AP) - A Michigan man with a record of Wisconsin drug convictions faces new charges -- where prosecutors say he was stopped with high-quality drugs in his vehicle.
Forty-three-year-old Anthony D. Morris of Ishpeming, was charged Friday with two drug-possession felonies. Law enforcement official referred to Morris as a high-volume drug dealer with a long record.
Police stopped him Thursday for speeding. The criminal complaint says officers found pills and about 300 grams of high-quality marijuana in his vehicle.
Bond was set at $20,000 cash.
