Traffic, Parking Info For World Series Games At Comerica Park In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - The Michigan Department of Transportation is making travel easier for those fortunate enough to have World Series tickets for home games at Comerica Park Oct. 27-29.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is making travel easier for those fortunate enough to have tickets for home games by postponing additional weekend construction on all roads leading to the ball park.

Game 3 - 8:07 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27
Game 4 - 8:07 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28
Game 5 - 8:07 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29
Getting To Comerica Park
-- I-69, Genesee County, will have up to two lanes closed on the westbound exit ramp to Hammerburg Road for bridge maintenance. No lanes will be closed on I-69 in this area.
-- I-69, Lapeer County, has one westbound lane closed from the St. Clair County line to M-24.
-- I-75, Bay County, will have the left southbound lane closed at the Tebo Drain between exits 173 and 181 for median work.
-- I-75, Monroe County, will have two southbound lanes closed from Luna Pier Road to the state line from 8 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday for patching.
-- I-75, Saginaw County, will have one lane closed in each direction near Exits 150 and 155 for Janes Road bridge work.
-- I-75, Wayne County, with be down to two lanes in each direction from between King Road and Sibley Road with traffic shifted.
-- I-94, Jackson County, has one lane closed in each direction with a traffic shift near Sargent Road (Exit 145).
-- I-94, Wayne County, has three eastbound lanes open over I-275 with a traffic shift.
-- I-94, Washtenaw County, will have one lane closed in each direction from the east junction of US-12 (Exit 185) to Wiard Road from 8 to 10 P.m. Saturday. One eastbound lane will be closed from Stone School Road to US-23 from 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.
-- I-96, Livingston County, will have the westbound ramp to southbound US-23 closed and detoured from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
-- I-96, Oakland County, has three lanes open in each direction between Milford Road and Kent Lake Road with a traffic shift and reduced speeds for ongoing bridge work.
-- I-275, Oakland and Wayne counties, is down to two lanes in each direction from Ann Arbor Road to Hannan Road.
-- M-14, Washtenaw County, has two lanes open in each direction between US-23 and the Wayne County line.
-- M-14, Washtenaw County, single lane closure on eastbound M-14 from Earhart Road to the Washtenaw/Wayne County starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday until 8 a.m. on Sunday.
-- M-24, Lapeer County, has one lane open in each direction over Plum Creek.
-- M-39 (Southfield Freeway), Oakland and Wayne counties, will have the southbound left lane closed at Oakwood Boulevard.
-- M-46, Tuscola County, has a lane shift in effect near Treasurer Road for bridge replacement.
-- M-52 in Adrian, Lenawee County, has one lane open in each direction between US-223 and South Street.
-- M-52 in Manchester, Washtenaw County, has southbound traffic maintained between Dutch Drive and Austin Road with northbound traffic detoured.
-- US-23, Livingston County, has two lanes open in each direction between M-36 and the I-96 interchange.
-- US-23, Livingston County, will have one lane closed in each direction at Grand River Avenue (just south of I-96) starting at 8 p.m. Friday for southbound traffic and 10 p.m. for northbound traffic. The lane closures will end at 5 a.m. on Monday.

Parking Information
Parking will be at premium prices downtown, so don't forget to bring some cash – at least $20. All parking lots are first come, so be sure to arrive early if you want a better spot.
