Toyota: North American Production Back To Normal
DETROIT (WWJ) - Toyota says its North American production is back to normal levels after a six-month slowdown following the March earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Toyota builds 12 models in North America. Together, they account for nearly 70 percent of the company's U.S. sales.
Toyota plans to use overtime and Saturday shifts to help replenish inventory at dealerships.
Production in Japan is also back to normal levels.
