Too Many Savvy Shoppers? Meijer Ending Double Coupons In Some Locations

DETROIT (WWJ) - Is Meijer ditching double coupons? The website Bargainstobounty.com says signs have begun popping up at Meijer stores across the state, warning customers that their long-running double coupon perk is ending March 30th.

Shoppers say they've spotted the signs at stores in Allen Park, Waterford, Ann Arbor, and elsewhere.

Meijer telling some upset Facebook posters that it's evaluating each of its markets to "determine the appropriate coupon strategy."

A quick call to the Royal Oak Meijer store and WWJ found out that they've already discontinued double coupons effective March 3rd.
