Tommy Lasorda: Players Who Used PEDs 'Do Not Belong' In The Hall Of Fame [VIDEO]

In case you missed it, the Baseball Hall of Fame is big news these days. Some writers are not voting because they're limited in the amount of players they can vote in; and then there, of course, is the debate on what to do with guys who have used performance enhancing drugs.

Should guys like Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens be allowed in? They used to, but many argue that they were Hall of Fame-worthy before they ever took anything. There are also guys like Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire and Rafael Palmeiro who many believe used PEDs and then acquired the needed stats and numbers to be inducted.

So what should happen?

Baseball legend Tommy Lasorda, who's at the baseball Winter meetings in San Diego this week, has very strong beliefs:

"People know they were involved with drugs and that's why they're not getting in the Hall of Fame, and they do not belong in the Hall of Fame" Lasorda said talking about suspected PED users.

Check out the video for Lasorda's full thoughts on PED users, high price contracts that starters are getting these days and his solid advice for Orel Hershiser when he was going through his scoreless inning streak.
