If you attend the Toledo Mud Hens game Friday night you might think you are lost in a video game.
On the field the players will wear uniforms inspired by the legendary video games 'Zelda.'
The 'Zelda' video game franchise has been around since 1986. The uniforms will be based on the main character 'Link.' These are actually pretty sweet uniforms.
The Mud Hens will wear Save the Princess themed specialty jerseys on Friday as a tribute to an iconic video game. The theme night jerseys will be sold during a silent auction on the main concourse to benefit the Helping Hens Charitable Fund and Life Connection of Ohio.
Not only can you see the players wear these cool uniforms, but you also have a chance to own one yourself if you are lucky enough to win one via a silent auction.
Toledo is also having a Ninja Turtles night on Sunday.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are taking over Fifth Third Field! The turtles will be available for photo opportunities throughout the game.
In minor League baseball, there really isn't anything much better than this when it comes to making the fans happy.
