Tips Sought To Find 17-Year-Old Detroit Girl, Missing Since July 11

DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit family and police are looking for help from the public to find a missing 17-year-old girl.

Detroit police say Dehaven Jackson was last seen by her mother when she left her home in the 1500 block of Temple on Friday, July 11 at about 5 p.m., headed to a babysitting job.

Dehaven is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and around 185 lbs., with brown eyes and and brown wavy hair with orange highlights.

She was last seen wearing gray shorts with a pink belt, a white short sleeve t-shirt with the word "Pari"s on it and a picture of the Eiffel Tower.  She was also wearing black converse shoes and eyeglasses.

Dehaven has a tattoo of a butterfly on her right front leg, a rosary bead tattoo on her left inner wrist, and a tattoo of lips with the initials J.B. on her neck.

Police said the teen suffers from bi-polar disorder for which she takes medication.
