Tips Sought In Murder Of Detroit Man
DETROIT (WWJ) - Crime Stoppers is trying to help the family of 49-year-old Detroit man find his killer.
Frederick Witcher was helping a neighbor move when he was shot and killed in September of last year.
Spokeswoman Christian Fuller said Witcher was moving items out of the neighbor's home it happened. The incident took place at 10:35 p.m. on the 10300 block of Elmira, between Meyers Rd. and Wyoming St.
A reward of up to $2,500 is available to anyone who has information about the crime.
His daughter, Ledora Hagan, believes someone witnessed the shooting that night.
"On September 25, 2011, my father was taken from my life ... I need closure for myself, my family and his friend. Please speak up," she said.
