Tigers Select Catcher In 2nd Round Of MLB Draft
With the 76th pick in the 2nd round of the 2011 MLB Draft the Tigers selected right handed cathcer James McCann from the University of Arkansas. McCann is a junior who hit .306 had 38 RBI and 4 home runs in 61 games for the Razorbacks. McCann was orginally drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 31st round (930th overall) in the 2008 MLB Draft.
