Official MLB awards will be awarded next week with the Rookie of the Year awards being given out on Monday, Manager of the Year awards on Tuesday, Cy Young awards on Wednesday, and the League MVP awards on Thursday. Tigers' players have taken home the AL MVP award the previous two seasons; Justin Verlander (2011) and Cabrera (2012).
