Tigers Change Lineup For Game 2 Of World Series
Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland has changed his team's lineup for game 2 of the World Series. Starting at catcher tonight is Gerald Laird over last night's starter Alex Avila. The Tigers face LHP Madison Bumgarner so the move is right in line with what Leyland had done previously in the ALDS and ALCS.
The rest of the Tigers lineup will stay the same. Austin Jackson will lead off playing center field, Infante 2b, Cabrera 3b, Fielder 1b, Young LF, Peralta SS, Garcia RF, Laird C and Doug Fister will bat ninth and start on the mound for the Tigers.
