Tigers Call Up RHP Warwick Saupold And Send Down Daniel Norris

The Detroit Tigers have made another move to try to solidify their bullpen Friday afternoon.
Detroit has called up 26-year-old RHP Warwick Saupold of Australia from Triple A Toledo.
Saupold has appeared in eight games for the Mud Hens and started four of those games. In those eight appearances he has a 2.37 ERA with 14 strikeouts and 8 walks with a 3-1 record.
In a corresponding move, the Tigers have optioned the contract of LHP Daniel Norris to Toledo.
Norris was called up earlier this week and pitched one inning for the Tigers while walking one.
