Tigers And Giants Align To #BACKBENOIT And #VOTEPENCE For The 2013 Final Vote
DETROIT AND SAN FRANCISCO- The defending American League Champion Detroit Tigers and defending National League Champion San Francisco Giants announced today a special partnership encouraging fans to vote to #BackBenoit and #VotePence for Tigers reliever Joaquin Benoit and Giants outfielder Hunter Pence for the 2013 All-Star Game Final Vote presented by freecreditscore.com
Fans can vote for Benoit and Pence online at www.tigers.com/vote or www.sfgiants.com/vote, or text "A1" for Benoit and "N4" for Pence to 89269 in the United States. Standard message and data rates may apply. Mobile voting is also available in Canada by texting the player codes to 101010. Fans have until 4 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday, July 11 to vote. There is NO LIMIT to the number of times fans may vote in All-Star Game Final Vote. The winners will be chosen exclusively by fan voting totals.
For the second consecutive year, the All-Star Game Final Vote will also include a social balloting element, as the support for each of the 10 candidates' official hashtags over the final six hours of balloting will count toward their final vote totals.
