Tiger Woods Takes Another Dive

By: Jeff Lesson

It has been a rollercoaster season for Tiger Woods' thus far.  In three events he has one win, one missed cut-and now a first round elimination at the WGC Match Play vs. a #63 seed.

There is no question he WAS the most dominating golfer of our time.  His winning percentage is higher than that of Jack Nicklaus throughout most of his career, and to compare him to Rory McElroy is ridiculous.

McElroy has two majors to Tiger's 14, while Tiger has only missed nine cuts on the PGA Tour to eight for Rory.  McElroy has also missed several cuts on the European Tour.

We are on record as saying Woods will never win another Major(And yes, I have saved many of your kind emails since making this statement in 2010-ha) Even though he is still one of the better golfers in the world- he is a mere shadow of his former self.  Tiger's record is still light years better than anyone else out there.

McElroy also was eliminated in the first round, but could still win a major or two this year.  He is the most talented golfer in the world and is either feast or famine in the majors.

Tiger has not won a major in five years.  He no longer makes the crucial 6-10 feet putts on the weekends in Majors.  I'm talking about the same putts he used to make in his sleep; In addition, his lack of distance control on his approach shots is sometimes baffling.

Woods might win another three events this year-but none will be a Major.
