Tiger Woods Is Back (Lesson On Golf Blog)
By: Jeff Lesson
They told us after he was tied for the lead through 36 holes at the U.S. Open that "Tiger Woods is back!."
Turns out the pundits were correct. In fact, Tiger Woods ended up SO FAR BACK he couldn't even see the leader board.
After a round of five over par 75 on Saturday that put him five shots back, Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee boldly stated that Tiger "choked".
When he came out Sunday with a six over par start in his first six holes, it became increasingly evident that he no longer has the mental strength to win a major.
His inability to make adjustments during his round will prevent him from winning another major, and absolutely end all chances to even sniff Jack's major record of 18.
